The uniqueness of these coins is that they are from British India in the last years of the Raj. They are quarter British rupees. The metal is sterling silver like all British coins from the era. In the picture it doesn’t show up as well, but the coins are shinier than shown. The portrait is of George VI in profile (the same king as in the film “The King’s Speech”). The script above his head reads his name and his title of King Emperor. Obviously, these cufflinks are super awesome and just totally boss.
